Healing Reins in Bend, Oregon

These are a few of the photographs I created this last weekend from an event at Healing Reins, a therapeutic riding center here in Central Oregon which works with disabled and at-risk children and adults, pairing them with trained horses and certified riding instructors. They had a riding competition this past Saturday, and I volunteered to be there to photograph some of the event. I am hoping to work with them more in the future -- I had a wonderful time, and it was great to watch the riders and the pride and joy they experienced as they worked with their horses.
