Waiting for the Show (c) 2008 by Tina M. Harris
Innovation Theatre Works is coming up on the last week of Jim Henry's beautiful play, The Angels of Lemnos. The cast and crew have done a wonderful job of bringing this play to life, and I think the intimate space of ITW's Balcony Cafe is a perfect way to really bring the audience into the world being created. It is simply a great production (and I am really not saying that just because it's my husband's theatre and he is the director -- honest!) I am working really hard on trying to help ITW get the word out a little better regarding their productions, and the classes, and everything else that is going on right now. It is not an easy job. ITW struggles with the same issues that every small arts organization battles: lack of money and staff to do the things that really need to be done. Still, there are many exciting things happening, and my hope is that word of mouth about the theatre will continue to spread, and that more and more people in Central Oregon will begin to discover Innovation Theatre Works -- and they will tell their friends!

My Way at the Tower Theatre

I had the pleasure of taking the production photographs for Innovation Theatre Works' production of My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, which was created in partnership with The Tower Theatre in Bend, Oregon. My Way stars Daniel Guzman*, Alyssa Marie, Tom Kelleher and Noelle Marion. The production was directed by Gary Lee Reed, with Musical Direction by Brent Crayon and Choreography by Barry McNabb.
Here are a few of the photos from the show ...

So Busy He Can't Remember
His Own Name
Brad and his partner Chris Rennolds are getting ready for another fundraising/friendraising event for their new theater company, Innovations Theatre Works. We are hoping that Chris will find out any day now who the female lead will be in their first full production in September, Driving Miss Daisy. I took this photo of Brad at their gala on May 16th. I thought it would have been even more appropriate if he had been wearing about 5 other name badges, because I think he was definitely having a Sybil moment when I caught him here ...
