As I mentioned in my previous post, my theme for this month's AWE (Art/Walk/Explore) event here in Redmond has to do with angels. The title for my show will be Angels Flight -- and here's the first picture people will see as they enter my studio.

And it only took me 8 months from the time I first saw the signs to actually make the picture! :-) I first spotted them last summer when Brad and I went to visit a friend from Maryland who was here touring several wineries. I didn't stop right then because I didn't want to make us late to meet her, and when we came back home that night it was really dark and I could not see the signs. Anyhow, last weekend we took our first trip to the coast (ah, how wonderful the Pacific Ocean looked!) and we happened to be on that same road, so this time I made sure that I stopped. (Good thing I kinda sorta remembered where the signs were!!)
